Growing up in multicultural Winnipeg, Canada, Cheryl Gilmore vowed to one day travel and see the world. After graduating from design in Toronto (1991) and following a season of local theatre, a unique opportunity arose to experience the high seas and she joined the SS Norway. Fast forward decades, Cheryl has had the opportunity to work with multiple production companies and cruise lines worldwide including Royal Viking, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Holland America, Renaissance and Silversea. She has sailed to 6 continents as well as travelled extensively worldwide. After nearly 16 of years of “touring” for work, Cheryl became a full-time travel consultant so she could use her industry knowledge to benefit others. Working with TourMagination for the past 5 years, she has been helping to build engaging custom group tour itineraries to destinations including Cuba, India, Russia, France, Morocco, Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Indonesia.
