European Family Heritage Adventure DAY 7

We explored & lunched at Triberg, Germany located in the Black Forest. The village is known for its cuckoo clocks, and has the smallest, largest and most expensive ($25,000). There is a cuckoo clock museum. A gushing waterfall & river is a natural showcase of beauty. Some in the group enjoyed a slice of Black Forest cake.

The Black Forest is dense with trees & foliage, & granite walls. The road curves continuously amongst the mist & low clouds.

We spent the afternoon in Bern, Switzerland, the city of bears. On our tour through the ancient city center we saw two bears in the bear pit. We saw the still-active government buildings. We saw where Anabaptist martyrs were publicly tortured & murdered.
