Have Plane, Will Travel

Well, this was a day for plane travel as the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine has made it almost impossible to travel between the two countries.  So we made our way very early this morning from Moscow to Munich to Kiev to Dnepropetrovsk (soon to be the city of Dnipro), arriving late in the evening.  Les and Lisa did go via Frankfurt, though, not Munich.

We were happy to have Olga Shmakina meet us in Dnepropetrovsk, and she accompanied as we travelled down the highway to Zaporozhzhye where we will be based for four nights.  Tomorrow we start on Chortitsa and Molotschna after that, as our most excellent Russian/Ukrainian adventure continues.   Now it’s Good Night!
