As you know, the municipality of Oberammergau postponed the Oberammergau 2020 Passion Play until 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently we have only been able to reserve tickets for 2022 that had already been confirmed for 2020. If you have purchased tickets for the 2020 Passion Play, please see below for the corresponding dates for 2022:
- June 8-10, 2020 now June 6-8, 2022
- August 10-12, 2020 now August 8-10, 2022
- September 14-16, 2020 now September 12-14, 2022
TM has rescheduled the following tours compatible with the Passion Play tickets for 2022:
June 2022: Anabaptist Story Tour (Passion Play Tickets, June 1-3, 2022) OR Thy Kingdom Come: Jordan, Palestine, Israel (Passion Play Tickets, June 6-8, 2022)
August 2022: Poland & Prague OR European Anabaptist Heritage
September 2022: Germany & Switzerland: An Alpine Adventure (Tour Fare TBA) OR Danube River Cruise
If you have already purchased Oberammergau tickets for 2020, you will have the following options on your re-registration form to tell us how you would like us to handle your non-refundable Oberammergau purchase:
- TRANSFER your funds to your 2022 Oberammergau package.
- DECLINE the Oberammergau credit and make an insurance claim (Manulife and CSA do not provide reimbursement if a travel credit is declined).
- GIFT your Oberammergau package to a friend or family member. (Please note: the names of travellers must be correct 6 months before departure to avoid name change fees. If friend/ family member is reimbursing your expenses – TourMagination is not responsible for payments between members).
New Purchase
We will be giving priority to those who have already purchased tickets for the 2020 Passion Play until August 31, 2020. If you have not purchased Oberammergau tickets for 2020, but would like to purchase tickets for 2022, we ask that you kindly hold your request until September 1, 2020. At that point we will check our inventory for available tickets and will see what remains available.
