2025 Journey the World of Paul & John in Türkiye & Greece

October 19 to November 3

the Western Wall and Temple Mount in Jerusalem, with the Dome of the Rock visible in the background under a clear sky
The Apostle Paul wrote thirteen letters of the New Testament; John of Patmos wrote Revelation. Today we can visit impressive ruins of places where these undaunted followers of Jesus witnessed and ministered. Join a worshipping band of pilgrims to remember early Christian outreach at Ephesus, Pergamum, Philippi, Corinth, and elsewhere. Get a glimpse of pagan mythology and values by visiting Greek temples and shrines of Delphi, Aphrodisias, and Athens. See ancient Troy—focus of battles featured in Homer’s Iliad. Consider the contrast between Paul (eager to engage the Roman Empire for the gospel) and John (exiled and bitterly opposed to the Empire). Ponder the emergence of Christian contemplative traditions with a visit to breathtaking monasteries at Meteora. Enjoy good food and fellowship throughout, soak in beauty of the Mediterranean world, and hear daily teaching by Bible scholar Nelson Kraybill.
