With both excitement and a touch of sadness, I am pleased to announce that I have decided to transfer ownership of TourMagination to Richard and Diane Bergmann effective September 30, 2024.
Richard is a dynamic and skilled executive with excellent business acumen. His wife Diane owns a relocation business. I will continue with the company for one year in a consulting capacity to facilitate a smooth transition and ensure a successful handover.
I joined TourMagination in 2002 in a contract role. In 2016 I purchased all the shares of the company. I continue to believe in our vision of helping people of faith to engage, experience and expand their worlds through group travel.
My late husband Terry and I have some very fond memories of travelling with many of you over the past 22 years!
I am thankful that God brought Richard and Diane to my attention. We were introduced by a mutual friend and TourMagination traveller. They are the ideal individuals to continue TourMagination's legacy and to infuse the company with fresh energy.
After several months of online interactions, we had the chance to meet in person. We spent a vibrant few days talking about business details, sharing laughs, hiking, and enjoying meals together. It felt almost like we were on a tour together, experiencing a blend of work and camaraderie.

Over the past year, we’ve entered a new phase in our lives, both in our careers and as our children have become more independent. This transition led us to search out business opportunities that align with our passions—learning about the world through travel and helping others have enriching encounters. As avid travellers, we’ve explored North America and been to 25 countries (and counting.) Among our friends and family, we’re known as the go-to travel planners.
We never imagined these interests would come together so perfectly in creating group travel experiences with TourMagination!
We are deeply grateful to God for opening the doors to this opportunity and to Audrey for entrusting us with the legacy of TourMagination. We are committed to continuing our partnerships with valued tour leaders, guides, and suppliers to ensure each journey remains meaningful.
Looking ahead, Diane and I are eager to introduce new travel experiences that will inspire and expand your world. Whether it’s embarking on a heritage journey, engaging in cultural exchanges, or uncovering hidden gems, we are committed to making each tour unforgettable.
