When you’re ready to travel again, TourMagination is here to support you. Your safety, as well as the safety of other travellers, tour leaders, in-country guides and suppliers, is our top priority. This is why we put new physical distancing and cleaning measures in place on all of our tours.
Our Travel with Peace of Mind policy includes new health and safety procedures from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave while making sure you have a meaningful experience. The policy will evolve as we continue to monitor local public health recommendations, but what won’t change is our commitment to keeping you safe as you explore, experience, and expand your world!
How to Prepare for Your Tour
We encourage all travellers to take a COVID-19 test 72 hours before travel, even if one is not required. If you test positive for COVID-19 within 21 days of departure, rest assured that flexible rebooking terms will be made available to you, allowing you to change to a future tour.
Depending on your tour, suppliers, including airlines and cruise lines, may require proof of a current COVID-19 vaccination for all travellers. Proof includes the original vaccination record document issued by either (1) the country’s health authority that administered the vaccination (i.e. U.S. CDC’s Vaccination Record Card) or (2) the guest’s medical provider that administered the vaccination. You will be alerted about vaccination requirements in travel information specific to your tour.
Our groups will be on average 15-20 people for increased safety and to encourage community among travellers. We will practice physical distancing and wear masks indoors or when we can’t be a safe distance apart.
Our Tour leaders
Our tour leaders and in-country guides will make sure you have a fantastic travel experience while keeping you safe and happy. With their local knowledge, they will continue to do everything they can to ensure you enjoy your travels.
Whether on the road or the high seas, our hired coaches and boats will undergo daily cleaning of all surfaces. Hand sanitiser and masks may be required onboard vehicles, and seating will be managed.
We have always selected our accommodation partners carefully. Now we are working with them to create new procedures to protect your health and safety. We have developed relationships with many of our hotels, and they agree with our safety protocols. We want our clients to feel confident as we travel from city to city.
Good (and safe) food
Eating delicious food is a significant part of the travel experience, so we know how crucial it is that you feel safe whenever we stop for a meal. Therefore, tours will only include eating experiences where good hygiene is maintained, and we can practice physical distancing.
