When you’re ready to travel again, TourMagination is here to support you. Your safety, as well as the safety of other travellers, tour leaders, in-country guides and suppliers, is our top priority. This is why we have put new measures in place on all of our tours.

Our Travel with Peace of Mind policy includes new health and safety procedures from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave while making sure you have a meaningful experience. The policy will evolve as we continue to monitor local public health recommendations, but what won’t change is our commitment to keeping you safe as you explore, experience, and expand your world!

How to Prepare for Your Tour

Latest Travel Requirements By Country

ENTER YOUR TOUR DESTINATION into this tool powered by Sherpa to find out up-to-date information about travel requirements, from visas to vaccinations for the countries you’re visiting.

For the safety of all our travellers, tour leaders, in-country guides and suppliers, a Pre-Tour Health Self-Assessment has been instituted as part of our process to check our travellers’ ability to join the tour. This required survey asks a series of questions that will help to ensure you and your fellow travellers are healthy before travelling with us. You will receive this as a fillable online survey via email shortly before departure. Travellers will also be asked to sign a waiver, which will be sent over email. We appreciate your support with these new procedures.

COVID-19 Tests

As entry requirements can change rapidly, we strongly recommend all travellers take a COVID-19 antigen rapid test 72 hours before travel, even if one is not required. If you test positive for COVID-19 within 21 days of departure, rest assured that flexible rebooking terms will be made available to you, allowing you to change to a future tour.

Full vaccination against COVID-19 is highly recommended and may be required depending on the country you’re travelling to and from. We recommend getting a booster shot within 200 days of travelling so that you are more fully protected.

Depending on your tour, suppliers, including airlines and cruise lines, may require proof of current COVID-19 vaccination for all travellers. Proof includes the original vaccination record document issued by either (1) the country’s health authority that administered the vaccination (i.e. U.S. CDC’s Vaccination Record Card) or an electronic record of vaccination provided by your government. You will be alerted about vaccination requirements in travel information specific to your tour. You should also check the Sherpa app for up-to-date COVID information.

Smaller Groups

Our groups will be on average 15-20 people for increased safety and to encourage community among travellers. When restrictions are not specified in a setting, we will allow groups travelling together to make decisions about physical distancing and wearing masks.  Tour leaders will take into account the preferences of all tour participants and make decisions for the group.

Our Tour leaders

Our tour leaders and in-country guides will make sure you have a fantastic travel experience while keeping you safe and happy. With their local knowledge, they will continue to do everything they can to ensure you enjoy your travels.

Getting around

Whether on the road or the high seas, our hired coaches and boats will undergo daily cleaning of all surfaces. Hand sanitizer and masks may be required onboard vehicles, and seating will be managed.

We have always selected our accommodation partners carefully. Now we are working with them to create new procedures to protect your health and safety. We have developed relationships with many of our hotels, and they agree with our safety protocols. We want our clients to feel confident as we travel from city to city.

Good (and safe) food

Eating delicious food is a significant part of the travel experience, so we know how crucial it is that you feel safe whenever you stop for a meal. Therefore, tours will only include eating experiences where good hygiene is maintained, and we can practice physical distancing.
