JB Miller returned to Sarasota, Florida, his hometown, after retiring from a career in financial services. His love of travel led to organizing numerous “people to people” trips to Cuba and developing friendships that will last a lifetime. He currently is a part-time instructor with the Sarasota County Schools adult education program where he teaches courses about Mennonites and Amish. He also provides consulting and support services for journalists and documentarians who come to Sarasota to learn about the Amish who spend time in Pinecraft, a one-of-a-kind village winter destination for Amish and other Plain People. JB earned a BS in Social Science from Eastern Mennonite University, and an MBA from Wake Forest University. His favorite traveling companions are persons who are flexible, appreciate a good story, and respectful of people with differing viewpoints. JB is looking forward to accompanying John Sharp on the 2023 Classic Anabaptist European Tour II as a tour manager.
