Good-Bye Home, Hello Israel – Holy Land Tour, Day 1

By tour leader Ingrid Reichard

Some days are filled with more anticipation than others. Any day that involves locking the front doors of your home behind you, getting to the airport, and making your way to the Middle East is certainly one of those days.

Today our group of adventurers leaves the familiar behind and ventures into the unknown. We have all joined this trip with hopes of setting our feet on new places, not just any new places, but the places that have witnessed God’s incarnate activity on this earth; places where we hope to not only take in the views, but also to meet Him in a new and significant way.

Please pray for our safety, for the enjoyment of one another, and for open eyes, open ears and open hearts.

Above all, we do not want to miss Him!

Our itinerary: we start with 1 night in Tel Aviv, move north to Galilee for 4 nights, cross over to Jordan for 2 nights, cross back at the south tip for 1 night, move north to the Dead Sea for 1 night and end with 4 nights in Jerusalem.
