Jordan River, Jezreel & Jericho

Journey of Hope pilgrims Esther and Ernie Reesor cool their feet in the Jordan River at Yardenit Baptismal Site near the Sea of Galilee. From this cool start to our day, our group went on to see the ancient city of Jezreel where Naboth lost his vineyard and his life to king Ahab. Then we trekked to Jericho for a cable car ride up Mount of Temptation. Now we are situated at our hotel in Jerusalem, getting ready for several days of visiting biblical sites around the holy city. We have an excellent national guide in Israel/Palestine and all have enjoyed the ties of shared faith and friendship that bring us together in spirit and hope.
