Australian Adventure, Kata Tjuta
Today we travelled through the Outback from Alice Springs to Uluru (formerly Ayers Rock), a site sacred to the Aboriginal people of the area. The scenery was incredible as we hiked the Olga Gorge to see Kata Tjuta (domed rock formations). We wore bug nets to protect ourselves.
After a lovely sunset, we enjoyed a gourmet Sounds of Silence dinner in the desert and enjoyed outstanding stargazing.
